Sbranti Saves the Day!

Donates pay raise to cover budget crisis

Look up in the sky!

It’s a bird!

It’s a plane!

It’s Superman!

The amazing stranger from the planet Clayton, the man of steel, Sbranti. Possessing remarking bullshit strength, Sbranti fights a never-ending battle for developers and special interests, disguised as a mild-mannered city manager, Joe Sbranti.

Never fear friends of Pittsburg, like our beloved Superman Mr. Sbranti has a strong moral compass.  He has graciously returned his approved 6.2% salary increase to save our town! (He made $225,000 in 2015, $239,000 today!) An additional $14k per year for the next three years will help balance the budget. Even Lex Luthor couldn’t stop this man’s generosity and will to do the right thing for his town.  His personal contribution will cover 18% of the California Theatre deficit or 17.5% of Old Town events (Car Shows, Farmers Market, etc.)  Both of which need to stay in order to keep the quality of life in our little Metropolis on the up and up.

Folks, I cannot make this up!  Okay, perhaps this is all a fib, but it’s high time a little “robbing from the rich to give to the poor” started happening – or my name isn’t Robin Hood.

Citizens, bring your kryptonite to the City Council Meeting on May 1st at 7 pm, at City Hall.
