As the Pittsburg fireworks extravaganza returns for another year, we realize that residents have learned from their leaders on the Council that the value of community is meaningless in the face of doing whatever the hell you want.
Best. Leaders. Ever.
Pittsburg’s City Manager & City Council are directly responsible for the high rate of COVID infections in our city.
The recent COVID outbreak at the Steel Mill is evidence that City leaders did not do enough to educate/enforce safety rules for businesses and the public.
Pittsburg City Council, lead by Merl Craft, again puts their cart before the horse.
The council is doubling-down on bad transit ideas since eBART is failing to live up to its promise.
How about fixing Pittsburg so businesses want to create meaningful jobs here first?

The devastating accident on Leland road is a sad reminder of how Pittsburg is devolving into the lawless town it once was.
As crime rates rise, the chance of Pittsburg pulling out of this downward spiral in which it’s trapped becomes less likely.
